The Methodology & Pedagogy of Teaching Dance workshop was incredibly inspiring and got me to explore thinking about dance in ways the bureaucracy of a school system had pulled my attention away from. Throughout this workshop encouraging students to explore in dance, build community and create trust felt attainable again. So far in this virtual school year we are starting off on this track and it has reminded me of why I want to teach again. Excited to keep building on this momentum and continue my own path of finding ways to continue nurturing community within my classroom and school.
